Why invest in En Primeur wines?

Also known as Wine Futures, En Primeur refers to the process of buying wines in the barrels before they are bottled. Wines are purchased exclusive of Duty and VAT and usually bottles are physically available 18-24 months after release.

The opening En Primeur price is considerably cheaper than the future price of the wine on the open market.

When purchasing En Primeur there will be several opportunities even before the wine is bottled to take advantage of price increases and make a profit.

En Primeur can be the only way to secure wines that are available in very limited quantities.

How it works?

The campaign is open

You buy your wines, excluding tax and shipping costs

Breeding at the castle

The wine continues to age for several more months in the estate’s cellars

Bottling process

You are alerted and you pay the VAT and any transport costs

Delivery in wooden box

All that remains is to age your wines in the cellar, unless you prefer to taste them
